Welcome to Twined! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our mobile application and services. By using Twined, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Twined, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.

2. Account Registration

To use Twined, you must:

• Be at least 13 years of age
• Provide accurate information during registration
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Partner Linking

Twined allows you to link with one partner at a time. Both parties must mutually consent to the link. You may unlink from a partner at any time through the app settings.

When you unlink, relationship data is preserved for 24 hours to allow re-linking. After this period, or if either party links with a new partner, the data is permanently deleted.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Twined only for its intended purpose. You must not:

• Use the app for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Harass, abuse, or harm another user
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the service
• Create multiple accounts to abuse the system
• Use automated systems to interact with the app
• Transmit viruses or malicious code

5. Ticket System

The ticket system is intended to facilitate positive interaction between partners. Tickets have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash or goods outside of the app.

We reserve the right to reset, modify, or remove tickets if we detect abuse or violation of these Terms.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

Twined offers optional premium features through subscription plans. Subscriptions are managed through the App Store (iOS).

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
• Cancellation must be done through your device's app store
• No refunds for partial subscription periods
• Prices may change with notice to subscribers

7. Intellectual Property

Twined and all associated content, features, and functionality are owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our service without our written consent.

8. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Twined is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

We are not responsible for any relationship outcomes, disagreements, or issues that may arise from using the app.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of Twined at any time without prior notice. We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the service.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or via email. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time through the app settings. We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately, and we may delete your account data.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
